iPressGo provides a Content Management Solution (CMS) and email marketing platform.
The CMS is where you will login to access the Content Library and to choose articles. It is also where you will access the administration area for your hosted and customized WordPress blog. To get started, login to the Content Library and select an article to be duplicated to your blog, either as a draft or published.
Once you have selected articles to be duplicated to your blog, toggle from the Content Library to your blog by clicking on the "My Sites" menu (top left) and then "Dashboard" under your blog.
From the Dashboard of your hosted iPressGo WordPress blog, find your duplicated blog by title and click on the title to view and/or edit the blog article.
Once your blog is published, your blog's feed will be updated. The XML / RSS feed of your hosted iPressGo WordPress blog can be found by adding "/feed" to your blog's URL. The feed of your blog will power your custom iPressGo email newsletter. iPressGo custom email newsletters can be found by logging into the email marketing platform (Campaigner supported by iPressGo) included with all iPressGo Content plans. iPressGo custom email newsletters can be used to deliver a summary of your last 3 - 5 published blog articles directly into your customers inboxes. Your custom newsletter can also be used for other things including announcements, promotions and other company communication; the modular design allows you to adjust the layout as needed.
Using the included email marketing platform is not required however many iPressGo customers find the Campaigner platform to be highly capable complete with advanced segmentation and automation capabilities.
Using the included, hosted WordPress blog is not required either. If you would prefer to host your own blog and only use the content, iPressGo provides the WordPress plugin "Copy Post" which enables you to easily duplicate articles from the iPressGo Content Library to your own WordPress blog. If you are hosting your own blog and using something other than WordPress, the simplest method to draft, edit and publish iPressGo content is to copy and paste directly from the library to your own blog.
